Our women’s cuts begin with an assessment your lifestyle, facial shape, height, weight, texture & density of hair, and personal style. Next, your technician will begin designing the perfect cut.
The technique used provides a natural line; when it follows the shape of the head, everything is blended and connects together. Aesthetically, you never see lines in a hair cut; there is no stacking or stepped layers, resulting in a very feminine and natural design. Hair is never cut against a cowlick or its natural direction; the design flows with any imperfections of the head so you will be able to reproduce the look at home.
For your consultation, your face and head shape are looked at. Then, the texture and volume of your hair is considered. Your technician will use a mix of 90 degree technique and straight razor finish, achieving a polished or textured look, depending on your personal style.
Select men’s technicians also offer straight razor face shaves according to your skin type.
Our all over color follows a simple rule: never go too far from your natural color. Not only can it cause damage, but it is very high- maintenance and usually unnatural looking. Your color at Daquila Hair Color Studio will look better than natural.
Highlighting, or balyage, is when your technician actually paints the highlights on your hair. This prevents both damage and a harsh exact line as your hair grows out. It also allows the highlights to be strategically-placed to accent your hair cut and any facial features that should be brought out (eyes, cheekbones, jaw line). There is no overlapping of color or bands that can appear from other highlighting techniques.
