Serenely decorated, we provide a place of rejuvenation for your mind and spirit while you are being treated to state of the art hair techniques.
Deborah Daquila’s vision was to create an environment where technicians who continually study and train to perfect their craft—technicians who do not view hair design simply as a way to make money—would be respected for their motivation and determination.
Danielle Daquila had a degree in business, corporate experience, and a passion for marketing. She wanted to carry on her family’s tradition of success through hard work, as her grandfather’s car dealership had done years ago.
Armed with a simple idea, Deborah’s world-class experience, Danielle’s business acumen, and a small but internationally-trained team of technicians, the Studio opened in 2004.
After careful research, Deborah and Danielle saw a space for rent in East Liberty that was formerly a gallery. They rightly anticipated, with the opening of Whole Foods Market nearby, their small business would be able to grow and thrive. They found a friendly and open business community in the neighborhood, a community that has since grown at an exciting pace.
“We chose a space large enough to give each technician and client lots of room. After visiting many salons, we experienced a ‘factory’ feeling of being on an assembly line. People working too closely limits their artistic potential and makes the client feel uncomfortable,” Deborah explained, “we realize our clients lead hectic, busy lives. This might be the only time in a month they get to relax and not think about anything else but themselves.”

Appointments: Making a consultation or service appointment is easy. Just call 412 361-0900 or visit our Studio and a member of our front desk staff would be happy to confirm your appointment.
If you are unable to find child care the day of your appointment, we’ll gladly reschedule you for the next available appointment that matches your needs. Unfortunately, because of dangerous objects and chemicals in our Studio, we cannot allow little ones to roam while we serve you.
Cancellation/Reschedule Policy: We value your time. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment at our Studio, please call at least 24 hours in advance. This advanced notice gives us time to notify a client on our waiting list of any available appointments.
Because we value all of our clients’ time, both booked clients and clients on our waiting list, failure to notify us at least 24 hours in advance more than two times will render you unable to book future night or weekend appointments without paying a service fee equal to the missed appointment’s service. Failure to notify us at least 24 hours in advance more than three times will place you on same day or walk-in status, and only if an appointment is available.
We encourage you to rebook during checkout so we can best accommodate your schedule. While we make every effort to remind clients of upcoming appointments via phone, we also encourage use of our reminder cards, available at the front desk.
